About this homestay
Los Angeles family, close to USC, downtown , Pasadena City College, Glendale College, Occidental College. Nice quiet neighborhood in good area near Glendale.
We've hosted international students many times before. We'd prefer to have a female student, since that's more comfortable for our girls and they would enjoy the company. We have a room available with internet, bed, desk, closet. Wifi, laundry, bedding, and towels included. This is a GREAT place to stay if you are studying or working in Our guests love staying here!
We have a nice backyard with lots of trees and spaces to relax. It's a perfect neighborhood for going for walks, and also about 5-10 minutes walk to various shops and businesses. (Starbucks, Target, Donut shop, etc. Also close to the Americana and Glendale Galleria, one of the largest shopping malls in California) A five minute walk takes you to buslines which go to downtown, Glendale, or Pasadena. I can help you plan the transportation to your school/studies, if you want. We lived in Japan, for three years from 93-96. (And loved it there!!) We have traveled and lived in various places around the world. We have several children at home including teenagers. My husband is a community college ESL instructor. (English as a Second Language) We are a friendly, easy-going, and peaceful family.
